Are you aware of your infinitesimal smallness??
Providentially, we ourselves and most people around us are so
much preoccupied with something or the other in our day-to-day lives that we
hardly get to see time left for ourselves or near and dear ones. It is such a
herculean task (rather an impossible one) to cross over the ocean of our very
own 'Mundane existence'.
We cry, we laugh, we pity, we sympathize, we sulk, we cheer,
we regret, we admire, we praise, we criticize, we owe, we blame, we connect, we
thank, we apologize, we aspire, we envy, we crave, we achieve, we lose, we
fail, we succeed.............All this in the light of and for the sake of
worldly pleasures, worldly sins, societal norms, KARMA, the cyclic chakra and
the foremost , at the behest of our 'Mundane Existence'.........
Is it the monopoly of current times, which has restricted our train of thought processes to such worldly affairs only or there has been a genetic change in the mindsets of people around??
We have modified our priorities, preferences and choices to
such an extent that we hardly relish the variety of divine experiences offered
by this vast cosmos! We turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to what this cosmos has
to offer us back! We ridicule and tend to ignore the pleasures that we can
derive out of normal humanitarian acts in our routine lives! The bliss of
helping someone in need, the chance of offering food to hungry, counseling
someone in trouble, extending a shoulder to a sobbing soul, be a part of
some one's merriment, opting a meditation course over cricket coaching........these
all and many such acts can transport you to the world full of untouched feelings, unsaid words and divine
connections !!
Yes, I agree that all such activities do become part of mundane activities, but only, when
performed as mere obligations!!
But, the one who has identified the bliss these offer, will realize his infinitesimal smallness in this cosmic world as a mortal and will spare himself to be swallowed up by the vastness of the universe and beyond!!
